And today we went to Ostland. Pure nature. The view from a dune was simply fantastic. Then we walked to the beach. We came through the forest, which had lots of small lakes, because this is where the material for raising the dyke had been taken. Simply picturesque. I love dune landscapes. It just lifts my soul. I sat for a while on the edge of the dunes with a view of the sea, which was once again far away. Simply great. The clouds in the sky were also impressive. Marlies didn't really like it. I could have sat there for hours. But then we started the way back and I found so many photo opportunities. We had lunch in a secluded restaurant and then went home, especially as the sky was cloudy and the wind was getting stronger. So I'll go to the forest nature trail tomorrow and not today as planned. That was probably better for my limited ability to walk. So then I played, read, got tired, slept and let the day end quietly. Two more sleeps and then I'm going home, but I'm taking today's pictures with me.
