Among the Bretons🏳🏴

Today we crossed over to St Malo in Brittany by ferry. It was a lovely ride under the best conditions, although we 'lost' 1 hour on the way. 

The coastal town of St Malo is truly worth seeing. It's basically one big fortress made of granite.🪨

The old town can be beautifully explored during such a day trip, everything is nice and compact. There were French delicacies at every corner that you know🥐🥖(but they really taste different, the croissants 🤤) and of course Breton specialties that you've never heard of...

The beer is also good.🍺

The creperies are a nice invention of the French.

So we strolled through the lively and winding streets and discovered a few beautiful boutiques (👧🏻) along the way. 

There are also many galleries with really beautiful paintings and photos to discover. 

On the fortification wall, we could walk around the city and had a wonderful panoramic view of this worth-seeing city from the opposite island (accessible on foot at low tide).🤩

At 17:50, our ferry then headed back to Jersey.🇯🇪

We also enjoyed the return trip culinarily with croissants and baguettes, and in addition, caught up the hour again. ⏰️

Returning by bus is already an old story by now.
