Beautiful😉😁
Today we had a little hike planned again. This time in the northern northeastern region.😊 From Bouley Bay to Rozel. Unfortunately, I don’t have suitable words to describe the...

After warming up yesterday, today we set off to the almost Mediterranean southwest. 😎
We got off the bus at the stunning St Brelade Bay beach and immediately headed back up the coastal path to enjoy great views of the picturesque bays. 🤩
Here, one feels like being somewhere in the Mediterranean, except there are hardly any people around. Wonderful.😁
Finally, we reached the southwestern tip of the island, the La Corbière lighthouse.
Since we arrived at low tide, we were able to walk there without getting our feet wet. Cool spot.
We then hiked along the endless St Quen's Bay up the west coast.
Always along the stunningly wide and almost deserted sandy beach. Here, you really felt the ocean vibes. 🌊
The endpoint of the hike, after 13.2 km, was Faulkner Fisheries. 🦑🦐🦀🦞
A 'fish stall' in an old bunker from the Wehrmacht. Optimal repurposing.
Unfortunately, we arrived a bit late, and there was nothing to eat left.
But of course, the bus stop was right at our feet. So we went back to the lighthouse and had a very nice dinner with a great view of it.
Crossing over was no longer possible...
After the sun had set, we reliably took the bus back to the hotel.
Again, a great day on this stunning island.🥰
Stay tuned!
