By car to Sanremo, Italy 🇮🇹

We set off by car early in the morning to Sanremo with an overnight stay in Milan.

Upon arriving at our accommodation, we only stayed in the city center of Sanremo or at the beach from then on. The streets are really narrow; you have to take turns very wide, and it's not for the faint-hearted. Since our Airbnb accommodation was a bit higher up in the mountains, we looked for a pleasant route to the beach and only visited Sanremo and the beach without many excursions. There are no real wide sandy beaches, but many coves with a narrow beach section with kiosks or restaurants where you can rent sunbeds and umbrellas for about 20-30 euros per day. There are also free sections, but they do not have sunbeds or umbrellas and are very crowded.

The food in the restaurant is reasonably priced, with pizza and pasta costing about 10-15 euros, in my opinion.

It's not far to France either. In 30 minutes, you can reach the Côte d’Azur.
