My first impression promises a lot of good things!

Yesterday, I was somehow already in Bucharest, but I was completely out of it due to jet lag.

Yesterday doesn't count. Today is the first full day in Bucharest.

Let's start with the hostel!

It's awesome! Seriously...it's actually not a hostel, but more of a grungy pub with rooms that have bunk beds. And 'grungy' pub is meant as a sincere compliment. You don't wear a crease in pubs. There's a foosball table, an ACDC pinball machine, and the lampshades should be adorned with punk rock legends.

All of this applies to the 'Underworld'! The waitress is really nice, the internet works, beer is available at fair prices, and there's a Brazilian guy and me in the room. And there are 'Underworld' t-shirts. Yesterday, I asked right away if I could buy one as a souvenir. Liz went to the storage room, and when she came back, she said a sentence that sounded so wonderful to my ears that Bucharest will always remain a great memory for me: 'Size M should fit, right?'

Today, I just wandered around the city without a plan or destination...

Just now, I bought a movie ticket for tomorrow. Today, there was an Ingmar Bergman film playing (Swedish with Romanian subtitles 😳). I decided not to watch it. But tomorrow, wow, tomorrow...it's going to be really, really nice... I'm really looking forward to the film. 😍
