Good morning from Stenungsögården Camping Site After a magical night, we awoke between the recept

Good morning from Bomstadbaden!
When I awoke, it had just started to rain heavily. A really nice country rain. Water that fell straight from the sky. Without wind. The drops simply pounded straight onto the roof of my 5-star accommodation. From my plastic window, I looked out, half asleep, and was excited by the spectacle. After ten minutes, the downpour was over, and the sun was shining again, just as it had done yesterday.
The captain was still dreaming, so I sneaked out of the villa as quietly as possible. Packed with all my bathroom essentials, I headed for one of the VIP bathrooms. On the way, I encountered the leader of the toilet trolley zombies. This woman crowned this madness: perhaps someone remembers the mother in 'The Flodders'!? With a burning cigarette in her mouth, she was groaning under the weight of a medium-sized specimen of these collection boxes towards the emptying stations. After the experience in my little bed, now this. However, the bathroom promptly lifted my spirits again. In short: fully equipped in about 12.4 square meters. All necessary tasks on a well-aged male body could be performed here to the full satisfaction of the owner.
Back at the vehicle, Chief was looking at me relatively frantically with narrow eyes from the sliding door. 'Finally' it struck me. Something seemed to be driving or preoccupying him so early in the day. He practically snatched the VIP access card from my hand and stormed off. I watched him go, but I only noticed the quickly retreating yellow light reflections of Crocs at ground level.
The spots next to us were emptying, but we weren’t in a hurry today. A visibly relieved and good-smelling Kadir fired up the gas stove and began preparing something for our well-being in the pan. While I was setting the table, our neighbor rolled past, and the poodle eagerly peeked into our kitchen from the side window. I had picked up fresh, warm rolls from the nearby reception. Our non-musically inclined favorite receptionist had just put them out in time, so it was still possible to have a little chat about our and her well-being that morning. She asked if I had indeed been punctual at 8 a.m. at the padel court, as I had hinted the day before. I explained to her that unfortunately, it had started to rain at 7:57 a.m. and that this plan had to be postponed indefinitely.
After the royal breakfast, the captain sent me to wash the dishes. However, since we had lost the last scrubbing sponge last night, I was forced to use my bare hands… and then it happened: the next injury befell me as I reached into the wash water and the large sharp knife cut through one of my fingertips. Okay, it was probably just the epidermis. But it did bleed for a few minutes.
As if in sleep, we broke down our place, and so we rolled off the lot at 11:59 a.m. My favorite receptionist was not present at that moment, so I disappointedly threw the code cards into the mailbox. Today we were heading to Askersund, which we were supposed to visit yesterday.
Our route took us along small side roads. Note: up to three-digit designations are usually all in the green zone. On four-digit labeled paths, I have experienced a surprise or two while riding in countries like Romania or Albania. But we were prepared and ready for anything. The driver steered the matte green beast through beautiful landscapes, sometimes without any traffic. Absolutely decelerating. Had it not been for the gravel sections. Whenever those little stones appeared in sight, the leader increased the speed. It was a wonder that we didn’t drift through every second curve with the emergency vehicle.
Some of our supplies on board were no longer available in satisfactory quantities. Something needed to be done. When a LIDL appeared on the horizon, the chief immediately realized that some of the essential components must be there. Feeling responsible for the shopping cart in my rank, I followed like a shadow through the supermarket which felt like it was cooled to 8 degrees. However, since Kadir was in many ways satisfied with the selection, I gritted my teeth. However, the heavy downpour, which began exactly at the moment we were about to leave the store, was a real challenge for my core body temperature. Nevertheless, we waited to at least get to the Benz dry.
Due to the very lavish breakfast, the onboard chef served a simple but delightful lunch today. Köttbullar with mustard. Mega. Smartphones are generally taboo during meals, but I still booked a spot at the campground we favored for today. And so we got closer to our daily goal.
Upon arrival at Husabergsudde Camping, I was apparently only just acknowledged by the gentleman behind the reception desk. In two sentences, he assigned me our spot. The captain and I deemed this inadequate as it was located by the access road. A consultation with the briefly spoken gentleman revealed a) that he was indeed willing to exchange more than two sentences with me and b) that there were still quite a few other options available. I took a little walk to check out the situation. I chose spot 36 in a quiet corner. Said and done, our vehicle was level and satisfied in its spot just a few minutes later. I brought the chairs into the sun, and seconds later clear drinks were standing on the foldable side tables, smiling at us with lemon slices. Cheers and welcome.
Next to us was already parked a BMW 1 Series with Cologne license plates. It turned out that the driver was on a road trip with her son, complete with a tent, gas cooker, and cans of ravioli. But: without electricity. Now the power bank and smartphone directly on the power column explained themselves. We offered to lend one of our extension cords. Petra gratefully accepted this, and we were pleased to have helped. Unfortunately, a heavy rain then started, so we had to retreat into our foil-covered metal hut.
For today, the cook had put sandwiches on the menu. There was also a fine selection of pasta salad, köttbullar (we had bought the 100-pack), and grapes. When dinner was over, we moved on to the cozy part of the evening. Our friend Henri persistently asked to be part of our group. Well, we thought. With the third man also encouraging us, we once again dedicated ourselves to the latest world hits. My lyrics and the laptop of the music-maker create a grand symbiosis. We created, listened, discussed, listened again, and started all over again. Of course, without forgetting Henri. When we had completed the fifth track, we decided to think about the coming day. Brushing teeth and listening to all songs through headphones once more. Then, close your eyes and fall asleep smiling happily.
Whether our neighbors were as enthusiastic about our musical results as we were, we could unfortunately only report tomorrow.
Good night, Askersund
