"Walking in Memphis" - Marc Cohn

Good morning from Memphis,

Yesterday it was the turn of our second major city after New Orleans: Memphis 😊 There is actually not much spectacular to see here except for the Sun Studios and a large shopping pyramid on the Mississippi.

Otherwise there are more pictures of the food 😅 a small omelette for breakfast and a portion of catfish and spare ribs for two for dinner. Yes, we are just so full 🤣

But if the city doesn't have much to offer other than museums, shopping and food, you should at least stop by the Peebody Hotel at 11 a.m. Here, every day, five ducks walk from the elevator across the red carpet to their fountain in the hotel bar, where they swim in circles until 5 p.m. A bit crazy, but still somehow nice to see.

And if anyone plans to come here, never rely on public transport. Always call Uber 😅

And now we are on our way across Tennessee and are looking forward to the next 4 days at the Tennessee Guest and Dude Ranch 😎
