6th Stage: Mountains and Passes

Caprile - Passo Giau - Passo Falzarego - Passo Valparole - Arabba

Passo Giau, with its 29 hairpin bends on the ascent (and almost as many on the descent), will remain in our memories as a highlight, both scenically and as a cycling pass.

In Arabba (not the Abba and Arabs haven't been spotted here yet), after climbing 2250 meters, we took the cable car up the mountain with a wonderful view of the Dolomites.
