Bajram Curr - in the northern mountains of Albania

Well, there we were, in this small village in the Albanian mountains, having paid off our debts and actually wanting to buy some postcards and explore the place a bit... We walked through almost every street in the village, asked in every shop, but postcards? They didn't exist here...

Amidst a lot of street vendors, clothes from China, and fruit, we saw many run-down houses in an incredibly beautiful mountain scenery.

So we fueled up with our last Albanian money, considered whether we should still go to Valbona for some hiking. However, the approaching dark cloud front sped up our decision, and Bajram Curr wasn't such a sight that we absolutely wanted to stay here any longer. So off to Kosovo.
