A real pass

Since we stayed overnight in Beuil at 1450m, we only had 200m to the first pass. But we only had the Hasenmaat (highest mountain in the canton of Solothurn at 1445m) once.

After a rapid descent into the Vartal up to 800m, we went back up the valley to St. Martin. We were able to leave our luggage there and drive up the last 1200m to the Cayolle. We had little traffic, apart from a few sheep and a few cows on the road.
