Crossed the main Alpine ridge

Diverse (landscape experience, weather, roads) tour over two 2k passes with the help of the tailwind.

Delayed start in the rain to climb the Col d'Izoard. The highest peaks have a little snow. The rock formations of the Casse Déserte are particularly worth mentioning. This pass has a chance of being at the top of the 2k passes in our rating.

Strengthened with a lunch menu, we tackled the climb to the 2744m high Col Agnel in the afternoon. Very little traffic, lots of high mountain landscape. The biggest danger were the marmots, which we could see in large numbers and sometimes crossed the road riskily. Finally, a long descent.

A successful main rehearsal for the queen stage
