The exhilarating descent as a worthy conclusion

Our 8th stage.

Relaxed cycling in great surroundings. On the climb to the Col des Champs we only encountered 7 motor vehicles in just under 2 hours.

At the Col d'Allos it was even quieter thanks to a construction site (with road closures, only posted at the end of the last town). What is particularly worth mentioning is the descent from the Col d'Allos, often with a view of the deep gorges of the Bachelard. The absolute highlight is the long section where the road is carved out of the rock.
