Accident, cancellation?
First things first.
Start as always, cold, wet, and windy. It's something you have to see. But then really beautiful dunes and sheep, sheep, and more sheep.
I had made a gentlemanly agreement with the sheep. I can take photos of them and they of me. The farmer was pleased.
Then came the absolute madness. I wanted to eat a coconut for lunch, but I had no knife. With a skilled side-hand strike, I ended up injuring my hand and got a bad sprain. Drivers stopped and wanted to help me... to open the coconut, but it was in vain. Great story, but the truth that I was thrown over the handlebars because I got stuck in a hedge with my rain poncho doesn't sound as good. Hoping for a quick recovery, but IBU can handle it.
Shortly afterwards, the longest bridge in the WORLD. No kidding, I drove over 15 kilometers across the bridge to Middelburg. Amazed and surprised at the same time. What happens if it breaks?
Well then I was also pursued by birds. I had taken the coconut with me during my accident. That seemed to be too much.
In the evening, I almost destroyed the microwave with my beans. I couldn't have guessed that they already had so much pressure in the microwave. At least I received the reward for my windy 115-kilometer spectacle. At least someone is celebrating it.
