I have been a traveler for as long as I can remember. I have traveled almost everywhere and chased my dreams. Do you see that railway bridge? It started my adventure when I saw it for the first time on April 4, 1999, in the Polish film 'Farba', and it is thanks to it, as it is in Nadodrze, that I wanted to leave for Nadodrze...
I remember like it was yesterday how I was afraid of that journey. I covered my eyes when I saw the railway bridge and the Odra River through the window the first time I went there... Today, as a traveler, I will introduce you to the charm of Nadodrze and its beauties. Nadodrze has taught me many life lessons—some were not beautiful, indeed they were beautiful, but they were also painful or even frightening for me... If it weren't for Nadodrze, I would not be the same person I am today...
When I get into university, I promise myself to return to Nadodrze and understand it better. It wasn't easy for me, but every lesson has something to teach, and the passing people in our lives, where some stay and others leave forever—not necessarily dying—are meant to show us that we have to live life on our own terms and not according to what someone else dictates to us...
