From Muscat to Jebel Akhdar

After 3 days in the big city, we went into the mountains. First to Birkat al-Mauz. Here we visited an old village. Traditionally, it was built with clay. Now it is partly in ruins and serves as a museum.

From there, the next day we went to Jebel Akhdar. It is 2009 m high. We spent the night at a hotel on the mountain. You can only get there on foot, while the luggage is transported by a cargo lift. It was a fantastic experience.
