While showering, Lara realizes that she has burned her head – from now on, a cap is a must.
On the way to breakfast, we get on the wrong train and take a wrong turn – typical.
Our favorite café saves the morning. This time we choose a chocolate croissant instead of pistachio. Outfits on point – of course, we do a photoshoot in front of a beautiful door.
We take a short detour to the Vatican and recharge in between – unfortunately only with potatoes in various forms. Fresh fruit or salad would have been welcome too.
By chance, we discover the Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore, where Pope Francis is buried.
We visit the Colosseum and the Trevi Fountain again – this time in beautiful evening light.

In the evening, we take the same train route as in the morning – after all, steps need to be counted.
Dinner in Trastevere: instead of salad, we have pasta again – Cacio e Pepe and Carbonara. The sweet Moscato wine was not a good choice. Lara had predicted it.
