Tag 29: Hot, hotter, Singapore

Thanks to jetlag, we woke up earlier than expected today. After breakfast at the hotel, we checked out and set off. The plan included some sightseeing. After just 500 meters, we were completely soaked in sweat because it was simply hot and humid.
Furama Riverfront Hotel
Our first destination was Chinatown. Here, we visited the Sri Mariamman Temple and the Buddha Tooth Relic Temple.
Due to the temperatures, we took the metro to Little India. We walked along Serangoon Road. There were also several temples here.
Next, we headed to the Sultan Mosque. On the way, we had lunch at Bugis Shopping Center.

Afterwards, we took the metro to Bayfront. The kids were eager to walk the Formula One racetrack, including the pit stop area. It's completely clear why the race takes place here at night - we were soaked afterwards.

Then we took the bus to the Gardens by the Bay. Even though it was really too warm for that, we looked at the different gardens. We only skipped the greenhouses - it was already warm enough.

At 7:15 PM, we had tickets for the observation deck of the Marina Bay Sands hotel. So we could also watch the light show at the Gardens by the Bay and the Spectra water show.
Afterwards, we took a taxi to the airport and collected our luggage. After we had already sent the suitcases on their way, we looked for something to eat. Then we waited at the gate for boarding. The scheduled departure time for our flight to Munich is 12:30 AM.

For the statistics: Overnight stay: in the airplane Traveled: only metro Walked: 23 km Weather: sunny at 33°C (felt like 40°C)
