Footprint

Well, I'm back... It's not like nothing has happened in our family since mid-May, but after our trip to Bern, I was simply worn out from family life and needed some time to recharge. Now we have more entertainment 😜.

We're enjoying our vacation at home. The girls are practicing conflict resolution, sleep deprivation, attention training, and dramatics, while mother is working on patience and nerve control 🤣. It's wonderful to be without time pressure and have more space. Vacations away from home are definitely overrated.

And we're never bored anyway. Today, for example, we have Foot Day: One is painting her nails in bright colors, another is getting a big snack, and the third is quickly testing Mama's intermediate blood resistance by cutting a piece of meat out of her foot at the bike shed 🤪. The oldest one is wildly calling for cloth and help, Nana is bravely holding her foot with completely blood-stained hands, and the little ones are fascinatedly following the blood trail on the stairs. We treat her, decide against stitches, and Nana will now limp around with a thick bandage. Lala only has one snack, but screams twice as often in pain through the house and wears a bandage that is also twice as big.
