Adamello and Final Dinner
Today was a big shopping day at Adamello (shopping center). A tradition that has always been followed by Dad. However, traditions can be reconsidered 😈. You can always find olive...

This morning was spent tidying up, packing, and then off we went. The journey went great. However, Lala honestly watched 4 hours of Masha and the Bear 🙈. She celebrated it, beaming after each episode when I confirmed she could continue watching. The goal wasn't just to drive through, but to reach the Castello di Mesocco. Dad has wanted to go there for a long time, Wiwi still loves castles, and Mom wants to do genealogical research in Mesocco. One minute before arriving at the parking lot, raindrops splatter on the windows. Huh, are you kidding us? Sunny weather and out of nowhere rain? Oh well, it will surely stop soon. Eeehh, like in a movie, now there's thunder rumbling too. No, no, that's not a sign. Despite the rain, we make our way up to the castle. The scenery is gigantic, even anti-mountain fan Mom finds it fascinating. The castle is also cool, with nooks, rooms, etc. Hm, if it weren't for this persistent rain 🥵. It's not just a brief thunderstorm, it is pouring bucket loads. Quickly waiting under the roof doesn't help either; it just doesn't stop. Back to the car... By the time we got there, we were wet as if we'd just taken a shower; EVERYTHING is dripping, the kids are freezing, and Mom would win the wet t-shirt contest. Out of those clothes, laundry bag, you sacred item, is conveniently on top 🤣. Bed set for Nana, bath towel for Lala, fitted sheet for Wiwi, and pillowcase for Mom's legs. Dad and Aya are tough, needing nothing. Then, just flip the switch 180 degrees and instead of air conditioning *turn up the heating* 🤣😅.
So we trundle home.
But it never gets boring there either. Just a quick hunt for 2 missing neighbor kids, battle with Phiny and Elmo, sick fox in the garden, and 107 bags and suitcases to unpack...
