Bern calls

It took a while until the last item on the to-do list was checked off 😅. One person still had to quickly go buy jeans, Mamina urgently requested birdseed after shopping, Lala wants a lot of mommy time today, and Dad is quickly calling through various conferences, and today Nana's vaulting trainer is running 25 minutes late for practice 🤪. At 5 PM, we're off. Lots of traffic, arguments over seats, motion sickness - but we can make it through and arrive safely ☺️. The camping site is pretty decent, with trees, a playground, and clean (cold 😖) sanitary facilities. A quick dinner at the camping restaurant would be fantastic right now. Unfortunately, the kitchen is already closed, and a Fanta alone won't fill anyone up. So, out come the pans in the camper, in go the sausages, and the fridge still has some treats. Mommy quickly cooks some porridge (for the high Vata after traveling 😜) and is pleasantly surprised when there's just enough left for her, but half a dozen sausages are left 😅.

As a final touch, a last little sip to settle the sleeping spot between Wiwi and Nana, and then at 11:05 PM, it's 'already' quiet time. Kids, you really have some nerves...
