Hello everyone,
I hope you're all doing well! It's time for a little sign of life and an update from my side. The last few days have been incredibly eventful — between lab duties, hot summer days, and special experiences, I've had quite a bit happen that I'd like to share with you.
First of all, I want to say thank you. Thank you for all your lovely messages, whether in the comments or privately. I truly read each and every one and I am so thrilled that you enjoy my little blog and accompany me on my journey. It gives me so much motivation and good vibes – you are amazing!
Let's start with what has been occupying most of my time lately: my project in the lab. Unfortunately, my experiments in the last few days haven't gone exactly as planned. Sometimes that's just how science is — trial and error until you find the right direction. But I have been in close contact with my supervisor; we discussed the results together and came up with some new ideas.
Currently, I'm sitting with my lab notebook, scribbling little sketches and notes to be well-prepared for tomorrow. I have a really good feeling about it and I look forward to trying out the new approaches. It's all part of the process, and I’m curious to see what comes out of it.
As you've perhaps already seen on social media: it's summer here in London! And I mean really summer. Temperatures above 25 degrees, a bright blue sky — it couldn't be better. Coincidentally, I've had wonderful visitors from Germany in recent days.
