Hello everyone,
It’s finally time – my first blog post! I had planned for quite some time to document my experiences and expectations for this adventure in a blog. But as is often the case, preparing for the semester abroad involved many organizational tasks that kept me fully occupied. Now that everything is taken care of, I’m excited to finally be able to share my journey with you.
Planning a semester abroad is anything but easy – a mountain of forms and signatures had to be organized from various places, both from my home university in Regensburg and from the university in London. But after a few weeks of paperwork, I can say that everything is now in order and I can look forward to my trip.
At the end of January, I also took care of personal matters. My passport was renewed, a travel guide for England is now my constant companion, and I have big plans to travel all over England during my stay. The anticipation is growing, and I can’t wait to discover all the exciting places this country has to offer.
This weekend, it’s finally time to pack. I’ll go through all my things once more, see what I might still need, and then we can get going. The suitcases are almost packed, and the trip to London is just around the corner.
I’m looking forward to taking you along on this journey! In my upcoming blog posts, I will share more about what awaits me in England, where I will be, and how long my adventure will last.
Until then!
Yours, Steffi
