The first project day began with a visit to the Eksi 25 association.
The organization is committed to protecting children and promoting social cohesion between refugees and the host society. We gained insight into the various projects and services offered by the organization and engaged in discussions with the staff about their daily work and the challenges they face on-site.
Afterward, we visited the provincial administration of Eskişehir. There, we received information about the situation of migrants and refugees in the region as well as the state support and integration services available. The collaboration between authorities and civil society organizations was particularly emphasized.
To conclude the day, we had the opportunity to meet the governor of Eskişehir in person. In an open discussion, current challenges and opportunities in the field of migration and integration were addressed. The exchange provided an interesting insight into the perspective of the regional administration and successfully rounded off the first project day.
