Started in Haren/Ems on the DEK downstream, with no wind and little current, hardly any ship traffic (Holiday - Father's Day -), but plenty of 'Father's Day parties' along the waterways. 4 locks had to be passed, all could be contacted and were very friendly, the lock chambers were already 'clear'. Lock Dörpen is frequently closed due to construction work, so this had to be taken into account during planning. At the Surwold harbor, I was already welcomed at the dock, mooring 'totally easy'; then in Oldenburg I docked in the city at the OYC; everything here was also super easy and very friendly. Next, we continue in the tidal waters of the Hunte, further over the Weser upstream to Bremen.
