Lianos de Cortisone waterfall

Change of location. From Monteverde head north to Rincon de la Vieja National Park. On the way we stopped at Llanos de Cortes, the most beautiful waterfall in the country. The water gently cascaded over the rocks and the view was simply breathtaking.
The weather was hot and the paths were dusty, the sun bathed the surroundings in a warm light. It was the perfect day to dive into the refreshing pool below the waterfall and just enjoy this here and now.
It's these little moments of peace and beauty that make a trip unforgettable. The Llanos de Cortes will forever be a place I look back on fondly when I think about my time in Costa Rica."
