Today we are already three, Göki and I have picked up Andi ('from Altötting') and we are all participating together in a Free Walking Tour. After a photo session in front of the opera house, we strengthen ourselves with lunch and then check out the university. There we also find a new hobby: sneaking into the photos of Asian tourists, who are all very happy about it. I learn proper Instagram posing from a Taiwanese girl (at least in theory). In the evening, we take the ferry toward the zoo, where there is a small path to a viewpoint overlooking the city. Here, you have a beautiful view of the sunset. However, our wonderful picnic is disrupted by some very cheeky and aggressive birds, who fortunately leave after a while, but steal part of my salad. Outrageous 😁
By the way, in Sydney, riding public transport is very easy: you hold your credit card to the reader when getting on and off, and the costs are automatically deducted. If you reach a certain amount in a day, no further charges are made; you essentially ride for free with the day ticket after that. Imagine telling this to the inventors of the MVV circle zone fee madness...
