Friday 22. Sep. 2023 Fonsagrada - Baleira

As announced yesterday, today we had an “easy” 🤭 30km hike. That's what we thought. But the Camino Primitivo had something different in store for us. We started at 8 a.m. in thick fog and then it started to rain. This only stopped around midday and we were happy to find a place to stop. Klaus thought it was excellent. Even though the weather got better and better, the Camino continued to torture us. This is through several long and sharp climbs. Whenever you thought you had reached the summit, you continued upwards. But at some point we managed that and were finally able to reach today's destination, Baleira. In total, the stage was 31.7 km long, 1,100m up and 1,300m down.
