Arrival in Busan

On Sunday morning (09.13.), we checked out of our hotel in Seoul at eight o'clock. We completed the whole process with the help of an automated machine, and placed our large luggage at the agreed location, as we will return here on Thursday.

Our KTX train departed from Seoul Station at 8:58. On this journey, we couldn't get lost since we only had to travel one subway stop. We arrived on time and even had to wait because they only display which platform the train departs from 15 minutes before departure. You can only go down to the platforms when it's indicated. I bought the tickets 30 days before departure using the Korail+ app. The tickets are not checked on the train. The 2 hours and 18 minutes passed very quickly, and we were already in Busan. During the train ride, we sped through several tunnels. Oh, and I also printed a NAMANE card at Seoul Station, which was a very simple process.

We took the subway to our hotel, which is very close to the beach, and we walked just a little. The only part that took more time was finding the green line 2 subway. When we arrived at the hotel - officially it was supposed to be check-in from 15:00 - to our greatest joy, we immediately received our room (10th floor).

After a short rest, we headed to our first planned program at the Oryukdo Skywalk (which is a glass-bottomed observation deck). Naturally, after a short successful subway ride, we ended up getting on the bus in the opposite direction. It became clear after about 15 minutes, so we quickly got off, crossed to the other side of the road, and managed to catch the right bus. The observation deck also pays great attention to ensuring that tourists adhere to the necessary rules here. The sea and the view were as soothing as always.

From there, we went to the Busan X the Sky tower, and before that, back home because my travel companion was having serious issues with their phone. With the help of Google, I managed to solve the problem, so we set off to Busan X the Sky calmly, which is very close to our accommodation.

Neither we nor any other tourist could print the ticket we bought on Klook at the ticket machine, so we had to go to the ticket office, where we received our tickets without any issues. Another tower, where they created the glass-walled observation deck on the 100th floor, with some areas having a glass floor. We missed the sunset, so we enjoyed the beautifully illuminated Busan at night.

After the observation deck, dinner followed, which we rushed a bit, because during our walk after dinner, we discovered that the Haeundae Traditional Market is just a few meters from our hotel.
