Today was all about the route, as we wanted to get closer to Ancona. So we comfortably saddled Beppo and set out to tackle the 660 kilometers.
Up to Innsbruck, via the old road to Brenner and then back down to Bolzano, the scenery is still very pleasant, but from the Po Valley onwards, it becomes very monotonous.

Only at the Adriatic does it become interesting again.
After what felt like endless kilometers, we reached our amazing parking spot in Offagna (https://park4night.com/de/lieu/47467/open/), very close to Ancona around 19:30, and we have this fantastic spot all to ourselves.

The fortress 'Rocca di Offagna' was built around 1454 for the defense of Ancona and is still very well preserved.

We have already taken an evening walk through Offagna, and tomorrow we will explore this wonderful place during the day, before heading to the port and taking the ferry in the early afternoon.
