Bud Norway Day 13
Due to the washing day announced yesterday and the increasingly bad stormy weather, we have scheduled a rest day in Bud (https://park4night.com/de/lieu/278718/open/).

After the stormiest and rainiest night of our trip, in the morning it was hard to tell where the puddles ended and the sea began.

Due to weather warnings at Trollstigen (flooding, rockslides), we changed our plans and drove straight into the Atlantic. Our destination was the island of Godøya. First, we took the ferry from Molde to Vestnes.

After the crossing, we drove up Vatnedal and behold, there was snow on the mountain peaks, and for the first time, the car indicated the winter symbol 🥶

Then we continued with tunnel hopping, where there was also a single-lane tunnel with passing places, which is quite impressive but has an extra lane for cyclists.
Another tunnel had about an 8% gradient down to a depth of 158 m UNN, and it was in excellent condition without any problems (Hamburg can surely learn something from this 😊).

After the tunnel, we had already reached our spot, with a great view of the Atlantic and Alnes, all to ourselves.

To finish, we explored the area and captured the most important impressions, including the daring surfers who enjoyed waiting for and riding the waves in icy water.

In the other direction from our spot, we hiked along the old, now closed road to Alnes and found a ladybug paradise. Someone put in a lot of effort there.
