The minibus of Han Travel, the travel organization, left at 8:30 am sharp. A Canadian couple, two American women, a Danish couple, a German, and us were on board. After about two hours, the driver safely dropped us off at Kuala Tempeling. Here we were able to buy our entrance tickets to the park (1 Malaysian Ringgit per person, about 25 Swiss Rappen) and the camera license (5 Malaysian Ringgit). Shortly afterwards, we boarded the boat. We traveled upstream for about 3 hours - the ride was very pleasant and relaxed. In Kuala Tahan, we checked into a simple room at the Rainbow Guesthouse.
In the evening, we visited one of the several boat restaurants. The Canadian couple accompanied us.
