Lisbon (Portugal) Cruise Terminal berth, October 15, 2025 - a sunny day that was perfect for hopping into one of those charming, rickety, yellow-glowing trams and being rocked through the city. The famous nostalgic tram squeaked and jolted like a vintage car with character - and that was exactly what gave it its charm.
The panoramic ride took us across the city, of course including photo stops. (Because if you don't have 47 almost identical pictures of the same red roofs - were you even in Lisbon?) The view was grand, and so was the crowd: a bit of Tetris with people, cameras, and backpacks.
But the real highlight came at the end: a boat ride under the Ponte 25 de Abril - that bridge that looks like it borrowed from San Francisco. The wind in my hair, the sun on my face, the city behind me - the day couldn't have ended better.
Lisbon itself? A city full of contrasts: pastel-colored houses, cobblestones with trip hazards, melancholic Fado music at every corner, and people who remain calm even in the greatest chaos. Somehow charming, somehow crazy - and definitely a city you'll never forget.
In the evening, we were on the pool deck with some crew members - White Night Party....
