Slowly but surely, one gets used to living on board – to the fixed routines, the many rules, and to the fact that coffee seems to run out just when you need it most. Nevertheless, every day brings something new: whether it's training, a colleague, or the mysterious art of walking straight in rough seas.
Tonight's expedition is of a special kind – the great ship exploration! After all, one wants to know where all the good snacks and cozy corners are hiding (in the crew area, many things are hidden behind secret doors). Luckily, I enjoy the luxury of a single cabin – well, a single-share cabin. The bathroom is shared with my neighbor. A single-share cabin consists of a bed, desk, television, and plenty of storage space. Nevertheless: a small realm all to myself, perfect for retreating, catching my breath – or simply for secret swing practice.
