Because of the forecast storms, we had to hurry with everything, as we were invited to the youth consecration ceremony at 6 p.m. In between, we had a coffee for six people in the camper. As the saying goes, there's always room in the smallest hut.
After everyone had taken a closer look at Bobby, we put away our clothes and stocked up on some food for the next week.
The youth consecration ceremony lasted longer yesterday evening, so it was difficult for us to get out of bed today. After we had packed up the rest of the things, we set off at 9 a.m. Our destination today is Trentino in South Tyrol, about 640 km.
The trip was great, only in Bavaria there were a few minor closures due to the flooding situation, but otherwise the weather held up well. At the Brenner we took a break at a shopping outlet and did a few errands at the EuroSpin supermarket before heading onto the Italian motorway. Almost 9 hours of driving time are pretty exhausting. Our parking space today is super quiet on the outskirts of the city. However, a pretty heavy thunderstorm is currently brewing, which is my absolute favorite in the mountains.
The lack of sleep over the last few days is taking its toll, so we head off to bed at half past eight and hopefully have a quiet night.
