Off we go towards Venice.

The night was absolutely quiet, the storm from yesterday passed quickly and was not too bad, but it rained half the night.

After a leisurely breakfast we set off towards Venice. We passed through the mountains, which were covered in clouds, and were rewarded with sunshine and warmth.

Our parking space, which we had already pre-booked, is in the industrial port of Venice. The parking space is right on the Venice lagoon, where we want to take the boat to Venice tomorrow.

When we arrived at the campsite we were allowed to choose a spot ourselves and after three attempts we found a nice spot. Today was all about peace and quiet and we walked around the campsite a bit, nothing more was planned, there is nothing to explore or anything like that here as the site is in no man's land, directly above the flight path of Venice airport.

In the evening, one of the highlights was of course the trips of the various freighters and a cruise ship. In the evening we sit in front of the motorhome with a mosquito candle and hope that this helps against the many mosquitoes.
