The next stop was the Living Museum of the San People near Grootfontein. There, various people showed us how the San people used to live: hunting, gathering, making fire, and dancing. After that, we spent two days and nights in the Okavango Delta in Botswana. The ferry crossing took only five minutes, but we had to wait five hours before one of the three ferries was ready for use... Once we arrived in the Delta, we were led across the Delta with mokoros and all our equipment, with many hippos and elephants to see. You can hear these animals very well throughout the night, which makes sleeping a bit more difficult. On the return trip from the Delta, we only had to wait four hours for the ferry crossing, which is a lot faster.
