Along the coast

Saturday, 10/06/18:

After another breakfast with the best view from our balcony overlooking the harbor, we headed to La Jolla Cove. Here in the beautiful bay, hundreds of seals sunbathed. During the walk along the coast, you could observe the animals; some people even swam with them. A truly beautiful neighborhood of San Diego, where you could spend houuuurs.

The journey continued through beautiful towns like Carlsbad or Oceanside. With more time, we would definitely have explored some of the places more closely... but in the morning, we stocked up on barbecue meat and salmon to light the coals in Doheny in the early evening. Once we arrived there, Stefan immediately started chopping salad. The scenery was simply gorgeous. We enjoyed the sunset with the sound of the ocean and delicious food before heading to Santa Monica.
