TAG 8: Bayreuth

Today I stayed at the University of Bayreuth. I noticed that universities are perfect for my needs. It's usually quiet in the evenings, and there are public toilets and coffee in the mornings. Great.

Then I explored the city on foot. The downtown area is very beautiful, but also manageable. For lunch, I found an Indian restaurant that offered all-you-can-eat for €11.50, so I indulged in various curry variations. After that, I slowed down a bit.

After exploring the downtown area, I visited the Hermitage, a castle located slightly outside the city. Here, too, there was a beautiful castle park to explore. Unfortunately, I didn't have time to visit the Margravial Opera House. But at least I have a reason to come back.

In the evening, I continued to Bamberg, where I first charged my power bank and devices at McDonald's before heading to my sleeping place.
