19|11|2019, Kilometer by kilometer towards the north

Hi guys,

today started relatively late for us. I woke up around 8 o'clock and quietly moved out of our roof tent. Ann-Estelle was still dozing a little and I felt like having a delicious camping cooker coffee. To my disappointment, I had to realize that our gas cooker, which was about a week old, gave up the ghost, one of the cooking fields was broken. Luckily, one was still working, so I still got my coffee. I'm currently watching the parrots flying around the trees at our campsite, when Ann-Estelle slowly got out of bed.

We had a nice breakfast and then took a nice warm shower. Around 11 o'clock we left the campsite and made our way to the city. We strolled through the shops for about an hour and took another look at the beach. Then I put on my swimming trunks again and jumped into the waves at "Sunshine Beach". At over 30 degrees, I take every opportunity to cool down and of course at such dreamy beaches! 😊

Then we drove about 130km north. Since Australia is known to be a very big country and we haven't covered such long distances yet, we went a bit further today. We can't visit every beach here in Australia, even though I've been loving them so far!

On our way, we made a short stop at the supermarket and bought a few things. We reached the campsite around 4:30 pm and set everything up. I started preparing dinner while Ann-Estelle washed our clothes, so we divided the tasks perfectly! 😊

For dinner, we actually wanted to have a glass of wine, but unfortunately I grabbed the wrong bottle and bought us a bottle of sparkling wine! 😅 Well, I guess we'll have sparkling wine for dinner then!

Tomorrow, I think we'll drive a little further north, because even if we realize that we forgot to visit something, we can still do it on our tour when we drive back down the coast! 😊
