After the layover from hell overnight at the Barcelona Airport, we flew to meet up with a bunch of lads in Dubrovnik. Dubrovnik was a really cool city, it's known worldwide for being a Game of Thrones filming location and the medieval town looks like an epic fortress by the sea. 

We were a group of over 15 guys in Dubrovnik, and the place we stayed at was truly amazing. We had this mansion right on the Mediterranean sea, you could literally jump in from our place. The views were incredible, I could have never left that place during our whole stay and be content with the trip. Both nights we didn't even end up going out to the town because we were having too much fun drinking and hanging out at our place. 

It was a good reminder that travel doesn't always have to follow the same script, see the sights during the day, find a bar at night, repeat. Sometimes you just get a beautiful place, good weather, and the right people around you, and that's more than enough.
