Finally, we arrived in Los Angeles after passing through Santa Barbara. We spent 4 days there due to the many attractions.
On the first day, we visited the Warner Bros Studios; it's essential to reserve tickets in advance for this. A few days earlier, the premiere of the new Beetlejuice movie had taken place in LA, so there were many things to see from the set, such as the costumes of the actors. As a Beetlejuice fan, it was absolutely perfect for me :) For fans of films or series, both Warner Bros Studios and Universal are definitely worth recommending.
Furthermore, one could visit the set of Big Bang Theory or Pretty Little Liars with a guided tour in the Warner Bros Studios.
In the evening, we made a stop at the Santa Monica Pier - very beautiful, but unfortunately also very crowded.
The next day took us to the Universal Studios - my absolute favorite among all the attractions in LA. The studio tour is highly recommended - you visit Desperate Housewives, Norman Bates, or even the Great White Shark. There are also many rides; for example, Jurassic Park, The Mummy, or Simpsons or Harry Potter. The studios definitely fill at least a whole day.
You get a beautiful view from the Griffith Observatory over the Hollywood Sign and the entire city. Beverly Hills is also worth a visit - looking at houses that you probably will never buy ;)
Apart from the film tourism, we didn’t find LA very appealing; there are many homeless people, and one doesn’t necessarily feel safe everywhere. Nevertheless, LA should be a must-visit if you are doing a round trip along the West Coast :)
