22.9. Skyline Trail - Close to the sky

On our 2nd day in Cheticamp, the sun shines in the clear sky. So nothing stands in the way of our planned longer hike. The hiking parking lot is already crowded when we arrive. However, on the 9.2 km long trail, we are mostly alone.

The path leads through beautiful scenery to a cliff with a magnificent view. On the sturdy boardwalk, we can safely walk up to the edge. Our grandson walks eagerly with us or sits in his "lighthouse" and has the best overview from there.

For our picnic, we have chosen a location directly on the beach (there are plenty of rocks to throw).

We keep our eyes and ears open until the evening, but unfortunately, no moose can be seen this time.
