I feel sick. I'm giving up alcohol now. Just a little Flor de Caña and I feel dizzy and I have stomachache.
The acquaintance that I know from last year and who is here this year with her Australian friend, let's call her Britta, has her birthday today and the three of us went out to eat. Afterwards, I let myself be tempted by a digestive schnapps. Britta is crazy about cats to the point of squeaking. Even before her arrival, she transferred money to me so that I can buy cat food and bring it to the family she lived with last year. They had a stray tomcat in their patio that had simply settled there. I did her the favor. I drove to a certain supermarket, bought various types, just not tuna, which the cat doesn't like. In retrospect, it turned out that the cat had already been passed on to acquaintances. But another cat had already snuck in and the homeowner took the food without a second thought.
This new cat was immediately and squeakily adopted by Britta, especially since she had a skin fungus, her fur was partially falling out, and she needed caring help. Britta had a veterinarian come and got medications. Now the animal is on the road to recovery, but what will happen to it. Because the homeowner now has a dog and has no interest in cats. By chance, the mother-in-law of Candida's youngest daughter is looking for a cat. She has already seen her and wants to take her. Britta has long since obtained a transport basket and a supply of cat food and would like to move the cat herself so that it has a good start. This intelligent being that can listen and even respond for hours.
The attached photo shows the quite possible peaceful coexistence of a dog and a cat, coincidentally taken at a public school.
