Just a shame, I could have stayed here. Yesterday I was almost tempted to stay a few more days. I could have cancelled and rescheduled my appointment with Dr. Hermes, and the neurologist. OK, the train ticket would have been wasted. BUT my tooth is screaming for the appropriate specialist. Dentist appointments are already bad in Dortmund, despite the nice Mr. Grebe. But unknown dentists are not an option.

My last tour took me to Loddin today. The first part I was able to ride on the promenade. Before 9:00 a.m., it is still relatively empty. Then the path continued along the federal road. But the bike path is separated from the road by a wide strip of greenery. And they are wide and brilliantly paved bike paths. Not like the bumpy tracks in Dortmund. Scenically, it was a nice ending.

On the way back, a stop (as always for the toilet) at Schloß Pudagla. It doesn't look like a castle right now, but they had a delicious coffee and an even more delicious apple cake. The owner of the house had just opened his café and I was able to choose a seat in the sun, which I told the owner and that I would be going home tomorrow. To my surprise, he responded with "So back home to the Ruhr area". I was very surprised that he picked up on that. "Good lady" (he was really referring to me), "my sister lives in Bochum. She now speaks just like her."

In the afternoon, I went for ice cream and a chat with Marion. She probably won't be back in Dortmund until Christmas. While packing, I watched the German girls beat Nigeria 3-0. Now I'm waiting for the quarter-finals against Sweden or Canada. Then I said goodbye to Ute and Dietmar Pühler. This little apartment is just great, the two of them made Usedom very close to me. And let's not forget: I treated myself to two fantastic back and head massages at Ute's island oasis. Afterwards, I always felt "like new". And yesterday evening we watched until the sun disappeared. I got a great picture with a awesome sunset as a farewell. You can see it. You will recognize it immediately in today's gallery. 😁😃😄😊 And sometimes you can also embellish signs at the entrance of a town with stickers. I'm sure: I'LL BE BACK!!! Until then
