Bangkok / Helsinki / Düsseldorf

The journey home was imminent and, as always, wanderlust arose on the drive to Bangkok airport. I could have booked a new trip straight away 😅

The taxi ride to the airport went quickly. But that was to be expected at 4 a.m. Check-in and security checks were also very quick. Then I quickly went through passport control and there was the stamp noise again 🥰 Officially left Thailand.

It took 12.5 hours to get to Helsinki with Finnair. Return flights always seem so much longer and my patience was, let's say, still on vacation. But somehow the time passed, thanks to Sudoku 😎

In Helsinki I had 55 minutes to change trains. There is a “fast line” for connecting flights and I was at the connecting gate in less than 20 minutes. That was really absolutely unproblematic. I endured the next 2.5 hours and then I landed in Düsseldorf, with rain. Just the right weather to really think about your next travel destinations.

Amsterdam and Frankfurt are on the agenda in December and who knows, maybe it will be expanded.
