Tag 15 - Beach, Tsipouro, Farewell, Return flight from Thessaloniki, Lonely trip home - 18.07.2020

After breakfast, we started the washing machine. So Eve had time to pack everything calmly and prepare her carry-on luggage for her flight home today. (I'll take the rest)

After hanging the laundry, we walked together (for the last time on this vacation) to Dimitri's tavern / beach bar / hotel and lay down on the same sun loungers as the previous days.

We enjoyed the warm weather, the delicious drinks, and the coolness of the sea, brr it was cold. We simply had a nice last day of vacation together.

Earlier than usual, we paid our bill and walked back to the accommodation. On the way, we got some gyros pita, which we then ate at the accommodation.

Then another 45 minutes of relaxation before heading to Thessaloniki Airport.

With a 20-minute delay, we drove to the airport and arrived one hour before check-in in unfriendly weather at the airport (probably she shouldn't fly, lol) only to find out that the flight doesn't depart until 20.55 instead of 20.35. So we got our boarding passes and waited for a looooong time until Eve said she just wanted to go inside. So she went upstairs to the check-in and then we went our separate ways. Eve towards Gate 17b and me to the car.

Once I was sure the plane was gone, I drove back and was back in Nea Peramos at the accommodation at 22.45 (GR) Eve landed in Stuttgart 20 minutes later (22.06 hrs / Germany).
