Binoculars - About us

Hi, we are behind the blog posts of "ⓑⓘⓝⓞⓒⓤⓛⓐⓡⓢ.".

Our name "binoculars", in German: Fernglas, just suits us. Because as soon as we are at home, we are already overwhelmed with wanderlust and we are making new travel plans. Simply: With our feet at home, with our eyes in the distance.

Our big but manageable main goal is always in focus.

We want to travel to all 47 COUNTRIES IN EUROPE by the age of 30.

We are total "cityholics" and love the colorful hustle and bustle of the cities. So we always head for the capital of a country as our top destination.

If time or vacation days allow, we perfect our trips by diving into the country's interior and absorbing the cultures, traditions, and ways of life.

We don't travel 24/7 and both of us have a stable job that cannot simply be taken to a camper van. We divide our annual leave as best as possible, do not value luxury, and set low/adapted budgets. That way, we manage to travel multiple times a year and satisfy our wanderlust.

We enjoy traveling with our motorhome but we also love getting on a plane.

We like extensive road trips but also short weekend trips.

We decide spontaneously based on the possibilities and circumstances.

We live and travel by the motto:

"Don't fill your life with days, fill your days with life",

in German: "Do not fill your life with days, but fill your days with life."

To stay connected to travel while at home, we are starting with the blog posts and want to gradually provide you with inspiration, travel tips, impressions, and photos.
