Highway 1 - Day 2

The second day I went further down Highway 1. Unfortunately there is a problem near Big Sur. Few rockslides this year have caused a lot of problems and a bridg has to be rebuilt. The route will be closed till the end of the year.

I drove down anyway, well knowing I have to return. There are some nice spots to take pictures.

I turned around at the Big Sur Inn and went back to Carmel-by-the-Sea. It's a nice small town. I visited the old Mission Museum. It's really worth to see it.

To go further south I had to take the 101. It's really boring driving down that freeway. Finnaly I arrived in El Paso de Robles. It's a nice little town and my stop for the night.

Oh yes, there was that....

Yes I understand now the great eyes of the waitress, when I ordered a whole rack of ribs... The ribs won... ;)
