Today the day threatened to completely fall apart from the morning. Juliane found out at breakfast that she has to manage the rest of the journey with her summer duvet and the second blanket did not find its way into the camper van. Fortunately, the prospect of an external toilet - which Paul found very good yesterday - prevented bloodshed.
The second stop, the first being the aforementioned toilet, was again a few kilometers uphill. After a short walk - the first time I unpacked my hiking boots - we reached a great view on Våttahaugen. From an XXL chair you have a great view over the fjord. We continued on a pretty big bridge - including butterflies in my stomach - towards the northeast to the rock carvings in Bølareinen. We found the carved reindeer but we simply failed to find a bear, 'stand-up paddler', and everything else undiscovered.
Tonight we are staying directly at a bird sanctuary. Unfortunately, it is close to the road, so it's a bit noisy, but we hope for sun and a magnificent view over the lake tomorrow morning.
