In the meantime, the most important and largest seaport in Malaysia, today container and cruise ships are mainly guests here.
The city has 2 million inhabitants. The Port Klang is 60 km away from Kuala Lumpur. From the port, you should not undertake anything on foot.
In Kuala Lumpur, you can see architectural highlights from past and modern times, such as the Petronas Twin Towers, right next to each other.
We started at 08:15 am with a private excursion. First, a bus that was too small arrived, but it was exchanged at the next stop. This one was much more comfortable, and the driver was nicer.
He explained a lot to us. But eventually, sensory overload occurred. We had a break of 90 minutes in the Chinese quarter, with a large market, where 'branded watches' could be bought for about 30 dollars.
Then we left the market and took a break at a small grill. Here we had good internet and downloaded the updates for the first time. We gave the employee 5 dollars for the internet pleasure, and in return, he served us a package of fries and salad for free. There was a spicy sauce to go with it, which still tasted good.
Since there is only expensive internet during the sea days and on board, we always used the free internet in the terminals to check emails and chat with the kids.
Wolfgang was pretty tired from all the walking, so I had to go to the Schmankerl alone. Luckily, I met familiar faces there, so I didn't sit alone. We had the big round table, which is more comfortable than the assembled tables.
I chose the sample soups and the duck. For dessert, I only had a half portion of Salzburg dumplings, even half was still too much. We were the last ones to leave.
